Kyubiko - Basics — Description
Kyubiko are evolved Kyubiyan ( ) and the product of a much slower evolutionary process as opposed to the rapid evolution their ancestors had undergone. Almost all the abilities of their ancestors are carried over to them, with a few being replaced with better abilities.

Their biological weapons are more optimized compared to those of their predecessors to reduce energy consumption. They traded their ability to force evolution for an ability to alter parts of their body down to the molecular level.

This allows them to construct and develop all-purpose environmental armor for their usage and counter-weapons to combat just about anything, organic and inorganic, with enough knowledge of their strengths and weaknesses.

On top of that, they’re capable of taking the body parts of their enemy and assimilating them into their body, allowing them to not only steal their abilities but also instantly repair any damage done to their body and increase their overall lifespan. However, absorbing too much power can make them unhinged and go insane.

They have an average lifespan of 20-25 years and height of 80-85 cm. They reach maturity at the age of 20 months. Their overall intelligence is comparable to that of a human teenager. While they mostly communicate telepathically, they still make high-pitched sounds occasionally such as when they’re surprised or distressed.

Unlike their predecessors, Kyubiko are mammals. Although they have developed sexual dimorphisms, something went wrong during the transition, causing the appearance of the males and females to flip.
