The author of the Lord of the Rings.Done for a magazine contest with the subject of the contest being 'My Hero'.
And speaking of which, this drawing won FIRST PLACE!!!! It is featured in the March 2011 edition of Tennessee Magazine!

Hey!!! I saw this in the magazine and thought it was really awesome!! I've entered the contest in that magazine before too. I believe my piece was in the May 2011. Mine was a picture of a boy and girl holding hands...anyway I reognized yours as soon as I saw it on here, glad to stumble upon it here!! Its such a great portrait.

Awesome! I want to enter again, and I very well could. But for some reason we haven't been getting that magazine lately, plus I think I'm too old now. But yeah, I've had several friends look through the magazine and see my name and call me up to congratulate me. I'll just say that the reward money went to help guying my wacom.

I'm pretty sure you become ineligible once you hit 18, but you should definitely double check. You can find the magazine online on Google. The extra pocket money is really great to have.
