Him's making it even harder on Brick now. Although he is right about one thing: You don't always get to choose what you do and don't want to do. It's unfair, but it's the truth.
Brandon: Maybe Brick will croak from the stress.
Me: Ugh.
Brandon: You know the old saying, "Stress kills," right?
Me: Yeah.
Brandon: Okay then. Brick will probably get so stressed, it'll strain his already weak self, and next thing you know, he drops down dead.
Me: You never know for sure. Enthriex will decide what happens next, not you.
What will Brick do? He's going to have to make a really hard decision, one a five-year-old wouldn't normally have to make. I hope he makes the right one, though.
