Homebound — Description

In her younger years, she’d wander- free from the slow winds of mortality, or so she thought, as did a flower in bloom before time would draw its petals to a close, one by one, on the earth.
Now, the decades piled upon her as fallen leaves, and home was calling.
Perhaps she had already ignored it for too long.

Finished a personal piece! This fantastic tree critter is from my headworld.
I love painting moss and plants but rarely do I have the patience and dedication to finish a full painting of it, so this is somewhat of a rarity.
