because I haven't seen the anime or read the manga, I didn't know who he was so when my friend asked me to draw him, I thought on the picture of him... that he seemed a bit creepy

You should watch the anime. It's great. L has this really cute aspect and he's overall an interesting character... He can be kinda... Creepy when it comes to kinda following light everywhere he goes but idk.. You should watch it. ^^
