Description Easter artwork for a Christian church in Southern California. This was heavily influenced by the art of Ty Mattson (who was influenced by Saul Bass). Everything except for the text is original and drawn by myself. The idea was to represent in an iconic way the whole story of Jesus' death and resurrection.

Thanks!!! I totally stole the exact color scheme from Ty Mattson. But I applied it in a different way than he did, and it worked well. I always do red/black/white artwork for Easter stuff so I was determined to NOT do that color scheme this time. This is what I ended up with...and I realized that it is really close to red/black/white, lol! I can't get away from that color scheme!!!

Says it all! Especially like the little touch of how the footsteps are coming out of the tomb, but none going in.Ha ha, they may have carried Him in, but He walked out on His own!
