I had said it before, although since it was a while ago, it will be worth repeating: "Bakugan" is one of those franchises that many of us will have in our memories, especially the younger ones, who see it as one of their first animes in their lives. In my case, I admit that the series in retrospect generates mixed feelings in me: On one hand, it is a "Kodo-shonen" that was part of that wave of franchises that we can classify as "Pokemon Killer", but as we know, the Nintendo and Game Freak Franchise is practically a Transmedia Monster that completely gives a damn about the competition, and in my case I am always happy with Pocket or Digital Monsters (..... "Digimon". It tries so hard, and yet it is the second place farthest from the first in the history of a competition of the same market). Add that because of things like the Localization of the Anime in the West and that the Game itself I did not understand how to play, they made me lose interest in this franchise, although I managed to watch from time to time and finish the first two seasons.

That is, as one can rescue anything from what you see in Pop Culture, here is no exception: Julie Makimoto is one of the 6 protagonists of the First Generation of Brawlers, standing out for having a flirtatious "Princess" attitude, who stands out for her lively, friendly and somewhat daring attitude, all represented by having an enviable body with dark skin and a silver hairstyle, which will undoubtedly attract attention wherever she goes. Julie is the only girl of the Bakugan Brawlers who returns in all the Seasons of the First Generation, although for each season, she has a more secondary role but at least she is there. I won't deny that she ended up being my favorite, to such a degree that since the existence of this Fic with its First Version in 2011, she appears among the main cast, and even more so that another of the reasons why this daring girl caught my attention, was her voice in Latin Spanish: Performed by Cristina Hernández (Who for the younger ones, you will know her as Joy in "Inside Out", and the Voice Over in "Komi-San Can't Communicate").

In the Fic, Julie is selected as a Scholar by the Capsule Institute, and seeing the opportunity to be able to live on her own (Although with the Support of her Dear Family), she moves to Federal where she meets on Day 1 the most important People in her Life now that she will live in Federal: Aguila Golden, Ashley Spinelli and Homer Simpson. Over time she will experience more things in her day to day seeing that San Martín De Tours (Federal City) is a city where everything happens except staying still. And even though her time as a Bakugan Brawler is over, life is giving her a new lease on life as a Daily Chariot Reporter, having obtained Powers comparable to a Friendly Neighbor who ends up being her Mentor, and being a Knight of a Martian War Goddess, being one of the most powerful of them all. Many things will happen in Julie Makimoto's life, but one thing is certain: She will look her best and make everyone pay attention to her actions (or her body).

Julie - ¡Ay, en serio, a veces siento como si no recibiera la suficiente atención (No como..... Otras)!
Spinelli - ....... Pffft.
Julie - Spinelli, mi Spinelli.... No te pongas así, sabes que Tú y Agui son los únicos con quienes quiero compartir escenario, un solo espacio.... Nosotros solos.
Spinelli - Crei que solo lo querías a Él para ti solita, picarona.
* Julie les Roba un Beso en la Mejilla a ambos, los dos quedan shockeados, aunque un tanto ruborizados...
Julie - Eso fue antes de resignarme, ademas... Una Bombonsote, Amazona Urbana y Curvas Peligrosas como Tú sería un Crimen decirle que No. Bien, vamos. No se que quieran hacer hoy, pero con gusto los acompaño.
Agui y Spin - ..... Que Tremenda... ¿Que?
* "La Bombón Sub-Terra":
Lo había dicho antes, aunque como fue hace tiempo, si valdrá la pena repetirlo: "Bakugan" es una de esas franquicias que muchos de nosotros la tendrán en sus recuerdos, especialmente los más jóvenes, que la ven como uno de sus primeros animes en sus vidas. En mi caso, admito que la serie en retrospectiva me genera sentimientos encontrados: Por un lado, es un "Kodo-shonen" que era parte de esa oleada de franquicias que podemos catalogar como "Pokemon Killer", pero como sabemos, la Franquicia de Nintendo y Game Freak es practicamente un Monstruo Transmedia que se la suda por completo a la competencia, y en mi caso yo siempre contento con los Monstruos de Bolsillo o Digitales (..... "Digimon". Tanto que lo intenta, y aun así es el segundo lugar mas lejano del primero en la historia de una competencia de un mismo mercado). Agreguen que por cosas como la Localización del Anime en Occidente y que el Juego en si no le entendí como se juega, me hicieron desinteresarme mucho de esta franquicia, aunque logrando ver de vez en cuando y terminar las dos primeras temporadas.
Eso si, como uno puede rescatar cualquier cosa de lo que vea en la Cultura Pop, aquí no es la excepcion: Julie Makimoto es una de las 6 protagonistas de la Primera Generacion de Peleadores, destacandose por tener una actitud de "Princesa" Coqueta, quien destaca por si actitud vibaracha, simpatica y algo atrevida, todo representado con tener un físico envidiable con una Piel morena con Peinado Plateado, que sin duda llamará la atención a donde vaya. Julie es la única chica de las Peleadoras Bakugan que regresa en Todas las Temporadas de la Primera Generación, aunque por cada temporada, ella tiene un Papel más secundario pero al menos está ahí. No negaré que terminó siendo mi favorita, a tal grado que desde la existencia de este Fic con su Primera Versión en 2011, aparece entre el elenco protagónico, y más aun que otra de las razones por las cuales me atrapó esta chica atrevida, fue su voz en Español: Interpretada por Cristina Hernández (Que para los más jovenes, la conocerán como Alegría en "Intensamente", y la Voz en Off en "Komi-San No puede Comunicarse").
En el Fic, Julie es seleccionada como Becada por el Instituto Capsula, y viendo la oportunidad de poder vivir por su cuenta (Aunque con el Apoyo de su Querida Familia), se muda a Federal en donde conoce en el Dia 1 a las Personas más importantes de su Vida ahora que vivirá en Federal: Aguila Golden, Ashley Spinelli y Homero Simpson. Con el tiempo vivirá más cosas en su día a día viendo que San Martín De Tours (Federal City) es una ciudad que ocurre de todo excepto quedarse quieta. Y aunque su tiempo como Peleadora Bakugan haya terminado, la vida le da su seguimiento como Reportera del Daily Chariot, haber obtenido Poderes comparables a un Vecino Amistoso que termina siendo su Mentor, y siendo una Caballero de una Diosa de la Guerra Marciana, siendo de las más poderosas de todas. Ocurrirán muchas cosas en la vida de Julie Makimoto, pero algo es seguro: Ella se lucirá lo mejor posible y hará que todos pongan atencion a sus acciones (O a su Cuerpo).
