In just under the wire! Contest entry for 's contest. Xora and Lyrik, with Hal looking on from the shadows. And yeah, that's right... Lyrik's in armour... disco armour. What are you going to do about it??!! Enjoy it, that's what, lol.I didn't really follow the references very well - I'm claiming artistic license on this one. I should perhaps be disqualified for that.
Even with the extension I had a really hard time finishing this... why did I do colour? To torture myself, I suppose.

Hmmmm... well if you have decided on facial markings, I'd keep those in mind when making the armour. Other than that, I find looking at armour for all kinds of characters helps. Even looking at armour from different video games and then mass effect-ifying it might help get you started.

Ah I'm glad you like it... it was a really tough for me... the whole digital thing. I'm so used to having a pallet and creating the colours... Using the pallet in photoshop just destroys me. And the details, well, I could have just gone on and on and on...
Anyway, it's awesome that you like it. If you want a copy of the original image (which is significantly larger), let me know.
