A Touchy Subject — Description

A bit of sun briefely touched the foreground. Seconds later sleet was blowing my way (you can already see some of that in the upper right corner). This hike was a very spontaneous idea after it turned out the road to the hike I had originally planned was already closed... I drove past this northern plateau area of the Jotunheimen mountains, had a look on the map, saw dozens of lakes with islands and glaciers that could be connected to a nice loop. It turned out to be a great idea. Such a gorgeous hike, even despite the fact that I couldn't see most of the mountain tops and a mix of rain and snow accompanied me throughout half of the hike.
