Type B Orca, also known as Gerlache Orca after Gerlache Straight in Antarctica, where they were first spotted

Often they'll show a yellow hue (but not always) due to diatoms on their skin. What is always prominent, however, is a 'dorsal cape' where the orca are grayish in color but darker black on top, with a distinctive light-colored line from their saddle patch distinguishing the two area. These orca often have huge eye patches and small dorsal fins compared to their Northern kin. They also generally have rounder, more bulbous heads.
