Description
Inspiration was foundUPDATES...!
What I truly hate is when certain updates screw up older programs/games. A graphics card update for example. You install it because a new game requires it. Then you think: Let's play some older game and that game doesn't work no more. ARGHHH...GH!
That's the downside of having a PC. That's also why I got a console on the side
Updates are often needed to make things run better, but I often reject them unless they are really important or needed.
You would think that certain updates are viruses in disguise...

I disabled all my updates, and even goddamned sabotaged it because if I hadn't I would've had Windows 10 downloaded and installed against my consent!
"You would think that certain updates are viruses in disguise..." - Actually, that's pretty much how Microsoft made their XP computers and Windows 7s and Vistas obsolete. :/

Update screwed up my Ubuntu. It was the xserver-xorg-video-intel package or something with the x server, lol

My dad updated my desktop browser from Windows XP to Windows 7, and now I can't play Spore anymore. That game was so much fun...

Well, it keeps crashing when I try to get on it. My desktop is kind of old, so maybe that's the reason.
And even if I do get on it, it crashes when I try to load Sporepedia.

Yeah, I think my desktop is from about 2006. Normally I just use it to upload deviations, store files, and play some Flash games.
I use my iPad and smartphone to browse dA most of the time. And I have a lot stored on those.

This is so true.
One time I updated Windows through the update thingy and once I restarted my computer and was logged in, I was unable to click on the start button or anything else. Thankfully, I have a icon on my desktop for one of the browsers that I have on my computer and was able to open that browser and google my problem.
When I had my laptop in the shop (it was a long time ago), the people working on my laptop turned on the optional update for newest version of IE, which I had turned off because it was recommend by my university that I should not install it (compatibility issues with WebCT). Good thing IE isn't my primary browser.
If I wasn't living on campus and need the university provided internet, I would not have automatic updates turned on.

Story of my life.
Ironically enough, while trying to view this stamp, Java tried to update and made my computer sluggish.

I completely agree and can relate to this!!! It seems with my laptop, whenever updates are needed like stupid iTunes, or java, or adobe it always messes my laptop up or makes it slower. Love the stamp^^
