hmm, my first experiment of this kind.maybe too many lights on = much ambient light = less contrast.

You are right, they are somewhat arbitrarily painted, it´s kind of hard doing metal anyway.
I´m certainly going to think of that the next time though. In the end if you figure that out right too, it´s gonna look awesome I hope.

All you have to be is a art appreciator
I want to be able to paint more realistic and convincing, more like nature. Everybody has some natural sense of how nature behaves, so everybody who sees something odd in my paintings are free to say so... I can decide what to take in, but I got to listen if I want to convince and make art people like.
About art critics, I have no idea what they talk about sometimes. I´ve been in such discussions, and it´s more philosophy than anything else. haha. One thing I´ve learnt is that the more talent you have, the better you can sense the talent of others. Just like talented musicians appreciate subtleties in music which I don´t understand. That said, I love music and have strong opinions about it. You got me thinking of this analogy, it´s interesting.
