I like how it's a subtle little nebula that doesn't stand out too much. You might want to try a soft textured brush set at real low opacities. It'll help with the cloudy look.
The planet looks nice. Might want to make your drop shadow for the clouds a little smaller.

You're welcome.
Yeah, real fuzzy and real large (like 300px and up) textured brushes set at like 10-25% opacity do a pretty nice job. You might want to put them on a separate layer than the stars, and set the layer to Lighten or Linear Dodge. Tends to have a nice glowly effect.
A friend who's more of a painter who had to do a planet for a pinup of his suggested real textured brushes plus spherize for the clouds....see if that helps you too on the next planet. It'll probably give your clouds more variety. I'll probably try that on the next planet I do.
There are tutorials out there on DA as well.

I'll tell ya what The file I'm working on is Huge! I put everything on separate layers. Compressed the file is like 360Mb but while I'm working it hovers around 2.5Gb..... its a little silly but If I ever wanna print something! ........ Life size baby!
I'll have to experiment!!!

I have an idea!.....For every degree a year the Earth's temperature rises...we get to execute the same number of board members from each of the major oil compainies.~Fangism
