Blending is pretty easy in Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro using the blend mode filters. For this flame I just used screen mode because the edges are a consistent color and will blend to any color smoothly.

Well I do have a question... the fractal club that has a peice of your work in their gallery has a link from one of your to this one. Why is that? Was there a mistake made?
