It's a spider web (in a bush), the kind that is built like a tunnel. I sprayed it with water to create the drops (from distance, to simulate rain, I didn't want to destroy its web), and then waited for the spider to come out. And then I took the photo

I usually put less known images from my gallery on my front page because people can easily find the popular ones in other ways: whether they're browsing my gallery sorted by popular (I know I do that a lot when I browse people's galleries), whether they notice them in the dA galleries, or in other people's favs.
And while I am proud of the most popular pieces (such as the one you're commenting on), I do still care a lot for the others as well, and don't want them to remain buried somewhere in the back of my gallery.

i see...well, you are already quiet known and you have many pieces which are spread all over deviantart, while i'm still quiet unkown...so i can't do that..
