Goddamn, Darkest of Days. That is a name I haven't seen for like... 6 years? I bought that game when it came out. Good memories.

It is from the future, used by a agency that time travels, i guess it is hardened against some EMP .

Forget ergonomics, this baby shoot's self guiding projectiles .

Well, you still need to tag the spot you want to hit, which requires a firm grip, which is made easier through better ergonomics.

did this actually get put in the game cause i saw this and really want to make it into a 3d model, just wanna know in advance if im actually going to be able to share it later. I tried doing so research (like i do with many of the weapons before i model them) to see if they are copyrighted etc but i haven't found anything on this one apart from your picture right here. any feedback would be appreciated

When I look at this, "This is my Rifle" by Combichrist plays in my head.

this deisgn i am looking at after another of yours and i like this one more as i do enjoy the sniper rifle design
it has some elements to it that make it alot different then others i have seen the mag also is very nicely worked in and a cool style to boot
i was niceing i believe the spot for the hook up to a tripod hook up in front of the mag and was thinking could you not say have a clospaing mount in the stock that could be opened on top and taken out or that or inset in to it so seen and can be removed easier that way so to clip on when you want a small mount to set it on. other wise excelent work

Unfortunately this was for a game, and the mount had to fit a pre-built tripod, which limited what I could do with it. It's definitely the weakest link in the whole design, but that was just a technical constraint. Oh well, maybe I'll do a Barracuda II some day and fix all the things that bugged me about the original.

The magazine reminds the VS-32 Helghast sniper rifle from the Killzone series. I, tovarish, kak snaiper Livanskoi Armiy, mog bi skazat - shto u takoi vintovki rukoyatka mogla bit pobolshe.
