This has been in the making for SO long. I actually drew the first sketch for this back in October or something and wanted to make a nice autumn sun painting out of it but I never got it done.
Well a week ago or so I stumbled upon the psd file again and decided to start it over.
So now you can see my spotless-snowleopard-fursona enjoying the first rays of the spring sun in a pose, that only a cat can deem comfortable x3
I think this is the most detailed background I have drawn so far and I am pretty happy with it.
Thanks again to ~RikoDuroskas for helping me with the mountains!

The mountains look a bit like there was a dragon sleeping in the background ... but I loooooooooove the texture on the tree!! Need to know how to apply textures :/
While I'm at it. As much as I love the tree! There's just not enough texture to you fur to make it go well with the tree... sawry, just my two cents.. Should probably stick to my own silly crappy drawings befor criticising you so much ;__;

You especially should know in what impossible positions cats can sleep 
I am pretty proud of the mountains because at first they looked like a scrunched up piece of cloth. I'm aware, that they are nowhere near perfect yet but they're the best I have managed to paint so far. (not to mention they were a pain in the butt...)
Applying textures is reeeeeally easy. I can show you sometime. I was surprised myself at how good the tree looked after I put the texture in
I know the style of the tree and the fur/lineart doesn't really fit together and it was intented. I wanted to try a new type of lineart and I also like the style of realisitic looking backgrounds together with not as realistic characters.
Stop apologizing for criticism, though. Makes me seem like I would bitch at you for something like that.

Ja, tut mir Leid. Auf das s hab ich irgendwie nicht geachtet und auch vergessen, nachzuchecken ob ich den account richtig geschrieben hatte. 
Vielen Dank für das Lob. Ich werde versuchen, in Zukunft noch weniger zu cheaten ^^
Vektorlinien hab ich mal ausprobiert, bin aber überhaupt nicht damit klar gekommen =/
Außerdem hab ich ein Faible für dynamische Strichführung (also dicker und dünner werdende Striche) und das geht mit Vektoren ja gar nicht.

Eigentlich nur nen ganz normalen. Für die Outlines hier hab ich glaub ich sogar deinen Outline-Pinsel benutzt. Muss wohl an der Strichführung selbst liegen.

Ich glaube ja nicht, dass Talent durch bloße Berührung abfärbt, ich hab schon so viele talentierte Leute berührt und nix is hängen geblieben. :-/

Nicht selbst gemacht. Einfach gegooglet und ein Bild von einer Baumrinde verwendet. Was bisl aufwendiger ist, ist die anwendung auf den Baum damit es auch realistisch aussieht
