Description
I struggle to comprehend what they understand so easily. A look, a touch, and the light flashes behind their eyes. But mine remain dull and dead. My muddled thoughts consume me, and yet while I feel only them I can not understand a piece. I am them, but who am I?Outside the trees sway in the ancient winds, air that has passed across the earth and been breathed by everything. The life passes from one on to the next: this breath from my grandmother, and this from her grandmother. I am entangled in the web, but what part do I play?
The questions can not answer themselves. So, I think. My thoughts muddle. Back to the beginning. I do not know what to do, how to cope, or how to fix my life. I pick up the shards and some cheap glue only to wonder, “Is it even broken?”
Inside I am trapped in my own comfort. No people touch me; I will not let them. Confined in these wallpapered walls fly my emotions and thoughts, bouncing off from each other. This swarm of me buzzes around inside and out of my mind. Without others I am focused entirely on me and all of my problems. The answer here is blatant, but I still ask myself: Is that so unhealthy?

Wow. This is super deep. Very personalised piece. I have read it a few times now and think it will take a few more to really grasp it. Not even sure that I will to be honest. I do know that it is intriguing to try. I feel there is something here to learn from or to tie into my own life... I will continue...

First of all: Thanks for taking the time.
For a little help: To me it's not so deep so maybe this is one of those things that you shouldn't overthink even if it seems to be the right thing to do. (ever had a problem that you believe you -really- need to think over a lot...and in the end the answer was the first thing you dismissed?) But, who knows the piece better than the creator?
I think the easiest way to figure it out is by reading a couple of my journal entries (latest and maybe the two before) which go over a bit of what I'm feeling...especially with what pertains to this piece.
Anyway, thanks again. I'm glad at least a bit of what I write has some semblance of ...meaning.

Oh, I see how it is. Praise me, and then drop-kick me? Hmm?! I'm working on it...well, I actually don't even see why I'm kicked off, so I'll probably just have to start a fight or something to get unkicked...although I really don't feel up to it right now. Actually, I might be able to do this without fighting (which makes more sense).
I have way too much time on my hands. *blames her withdrawal from caf fries...and you!*
