is such a cool artist. I was loving the tech work he made here, so felt the need to try my inks on it.Rei Ayanami (綾波 レイ, Ayanami Rei?) is a fictional character from the Neon Genesis Evangelion franchise. She is the First Child (First Children in the Japanese version) and pilot of the Evangelion Unit 00.

I have a collection of worn .3 Staedtler pens. It takes awhile to get 'em broken in so that they create more of a nib pen style. The new pens are really fast flowing and tougher to use for detail; I usually work them in on heavy shadow areas like under her leg. I also used a brush to fill and build up the weight.
