Ecology: Not Your Kill — Description
A young male Snow Wraith experiences his first mating season as he soon finds a female to mate and partner with. However as Snow Wraith mating rituals demand the male must present the female with a kill as a gift. This isn't just to appease her, but a test for the male. If the carcass is that of a strong dragon then it gives the female the impression that the male is strong enough to protect her and possible future chicks. The male scours the Ice Realm looking for prey. He soon sees a bull Yetiwing roaming about. The Snow Wraith dive bombs it from behind. The Snow Wraith pins it to the ground, but a bull Yetiwing will not go down without a fight. After a brief struggle the Snow Wraith snaps its neck and begins to rest for a bit before dragging the corpse back to the female. However things take a turn when a pair of Speed Stingers scouting for potential prey for their pack and heard the commotion from the Snow Wraiths hunt. The pair circle around the Snow Wraith trying to harass it, but it's not working and they call for their pack for back up. The male Snow Wraith prepares for a fight, not willing to give up his kill.
