DURGE VS SLEDGE (STAR WARS/POWER RANGERS)
CORE THEME:
Monstrous extraterrestrial bounty hunters from long-running science-fiction franchises who have spent centuries roaming the galaxy in pursuit of valuable targets, rare prizes, and personal objectives. Both are extraordinarily long-lived beings whose unusual physical characteristics have allowed them to survive for ages and develop reputations as exceptionally dangerous hunters; both have commanded crews, mercenaries, monsters, or military forces in pursuit of their goals; and both have repeatedly crossed paths with heroic forces who have struggled to permanently stop them. Their careers have also drawn them into conflicts far larger than ordinary bounty hunting, turning them into infamous figures whose exploits span generations. Yet their reasons for becoming such feared hunters could hardly be more different: Durge is a millennia-old warrior whose existence has become defined by an insatiable lust for violence and hatred toward the Jedi and Mandalorians, while Sledge is a millennium-old criminal pursuing the Energems so he can obtain ultimate power, conquer the universe, take revenge on Keeper, and make his beloved fiancée Poisandra happy.
CONNECTIONS:
-Both are extraordinarily long-lived extraterrestrial bounty hunters who have spent centuries traveling throughout the galaxy in pursuit of targets, bounties, and valuable prizes (Durge is a Gen'Dai who has lived for nearly two millennia and became one of the most infamous bounty hunters and mercenaries in galactic history / Sledge is an alien bounty hunter who has spent roughly a millennium traveling the galaxy in search of valuable objects and lucrative bounties).
-Both's unusual alien physiology is a major part of what makes them so dangerous, granting them physical capabilities far beyond those of ordinary members of their respective universes (Durge's Gen'Dai body grants him tremendous strength, endurance, durability, and regenerative abilities / Sledge possesses immense physical strength, durability, and stamina, further enhanced by his armor and advanced alien technology).

Durge seeks violence because he genuinely loves killing and possesses an ingrained hatred of those he considers enemies, while Sledge seeks the Energems because their power would allow him to conquer the universe, take revenge on Keeper, and ultimately satisfy the woman he loves, Poisandra.
-Durge's hatred of the Mandalorians and Jedi is rooted in a lifetime of violence and personal trauma, particularly his history of being captured and tortured by Mandalorians; Sledge's hatred of Keeper originates from a specific ancient betrayal in which Keeper concealed the Energems and tricked him with a bomb, giving Sledge a personal grudge that has lasted for 65 million years.
-Durge treats living beings themselves as the primary objects of his hunt, particularly Jedi, clone troopers, Mandalorians, and other enemies he wants to kill; Sledge's ultimate prize is an object—the Energems—and his desire to possess their power is what drives much of his criminal empire.

-Durge's relationship with his own species is particularly tragic: despite the generally peaceful and philosophical nature of the Gen'Dai, he became an exceptionally violent and sadistic outlier; Sledge, by contrast, is defined less by rejecting the nature of his species and more by his flamboyant identity as a selfish criminal and would-be conqueror.
-Durge's immense regenerative abilities are a fundamental consequence of his bizarre Gen'Dai biology, allowing his body to survive and reconstruct itself after catastrophic damage; Sledge's resilience is instead presented primarily through his tremendous natural toughness, armor, weaponry, and alien technology.
-Durge hunts because he loves the hunt itself—the violence, the suffering, and the opportunity to indulge his hatred—whereas Sledge hunts because he believes the Energems will give him everything he wants: power over the universe, revenge against Keeper, and the ability to make Poisandra happy. One is driven by bloodlust and vengeance; the other is driven by ambition, revenge, and devotion to the person he loves.

Boba vs Sledge is still a great alt for him....but I won't deny this seems like a better Star Wars MU for Sledge now. My favorite for both!
