VILE VS BLACK MANTA (MEGAMAN/DC COMICS)
CONNECTIONS:
They both started out as normal soldiers but quickly became extremely violent
They both have a personal connection to the hero (aquaman and mega man). And are extremely vengeful and will do anything to kill and destroy them)
Both have returned from the dead on numerous occasions
Both work for much larger villains (black manta commonly works for both Lex Luthor and Ocean Master and vile works for Sigma)
Both have zero interest in financial gain and are only personally motivated, seeing killing the hero as their true reward
Bo have successfully overpowered the hero and has nearly left them for dead on numerous occasions. Doing vile and truly despicable things to hurt the hero. (Black manta murdered aquababy)
They obviously are loaded to the brim with cyber augmentations and wear super powerful armour filled with all kinds of gadgets. Most notably powerful lasers

Yeah it's pretty cool, my second favorite alt for Vile and my preferred for Black Manta
Rooting both (heavily leaning Vile), betting Black Manta
