NAZO VS OMEGA SHENRON (NAZO UNLEASHED/DRAGON BALL GT)
CONNECTIONS:
Both are pearl white beings made out of pure evil energy created from the overuse of their world's seven mystical artifacts (The Chaos Emeralds and The Dragon Balls). And due to their physiology are weak to positive forms of energy.
Both have the main goal of collecting said magical artifacts and absorb their power in order to reach their strongest forms (Super/Hyper Nazo and Omega Shenron) for the sole goal of becoming the strongest being in the entire universe in order to eliminate everything in existence.
Both were challenged by a snarky, more laxed protagonist (Sonic and Goku) and their edgier, more serious former rivals (Shadow and Vegeta) in their strongest forms who still had to fuse with each other (Hyper Shadic and Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta) in order to stand a chance against Nazo/Shenron within their strongest forms.
Both are obviously inspired by DBZ (Nazo Unleashed being a sonic fan animation with its fights heavily being inspired by DBZ and DB GT being an direct sequel to the DBZ anime).
Also, both are very non-canon (Nazo coming from a fan made sonic animation and being based on a rejected Super Sonic form from Sonic X, While DB GT was reconned once Toriyama started writing for DBZ again with the advent of Dragon ball Super and the show featuring plenty of non-canon DBZ movie characters such as Cooler and Picon)

Yeah this matchup is pretty cool, good alt for Nazo and probably my fav for Omega Shenron? I haven't looked at many of his matchups yet
Rooting both, betting IDK (Both don't exactly have the same scaling their canon franchises have, so IDK who takes this honestly)
