This is my entry for Pocahontas's contest hosted by EDIT: I won the 3rd Place everybody!

I really enjoy drawing this one 
(finaly I dont feel anymore frustated 
) Done with regular colour pencils 
It took me (guess what?!) 3 DAYS!!! again! it seams like I'm program to finish a draw in 3 days!! A3 size paper! I wanted to do something diferent for the contest! She's not the cummom disney's version pocahontas but still she has some lines based. See the blue hair over there? that's defently a line from pocahontas 
well besides my happines and my artist's mood I have a little problem =\
The photographer of the reference pick didnt answer to my request to use it for drawing but since the contest will end up soon I decided to post it! =\anyway, I dont know if I put myself in troubles, here is the reference photo: [link]

Dude, she is not white. Look at all the different shades in her face and around the line of her jaw. If she was white, we'd be seeing bluer undertones - and the hair is so native american. Even if her skin looked white, you could still tell she was Native American.
Anyways, that's my spiel for the day - good job. It's lovely.

The story of Pocahontas meeting King James I-VI is very amusing.
The Indians who accompanied P could not believe that JI-VI was really a king; no surprise there, since the son of the very beautiful Mary, Queen of Scots, was a very unimpressive man.
The King, on the other hand, was very impressed by P; he thought she looked exactly like a princess should look.

i think this is an amazing use of colour.. deff one of your best. seems like ur realizing ur potential as an artist, which im sure must feel great. i see that your capable of great things. and at such a young age! keep it up!!
