Description
Part III of my "Girls with Icky Things" series. The others can be seen here:[link]
This time, the "Icky Thing" is a crab. Personally, I love crabs. I think they're delicious (frogs too). It's heavily based on the Cardisoma Guanhumi, with features of other crab types thrown in. I chose the Cardisoma Guanhumi because of it's bitchin' design. They have interesting and fairly unique shapes as far as crabs go.
If I ever make enough of these, I might wanna design a fighting game or something.
Y'know, for some reason, I have a bit more fun on the creatures in these pieces than I do the scantily-clad women...
. . .
ANYWAY, I wonder what to do for the next one...? Crickets, roaches, or snakes...? There's a whole world of icky things!
Oh yeah... Before I forget... For this piece I used two programs. 95% of the piece was done using a program called Paint Tool SAI. The other 5% (the textures) were done using Painter.

Thank you. I don't think she can join Lightning Wolf (or the SDL for that matter), simply because the crab is too big.
Though, if I were to alter a couple of things...

This come out out really good. The details on the crap look wonderful. The ocean looks like you got lazy. It doesn't feel like water.

Dashy, great use of sai, so far..
What I think you'd need is a little more light direction.
She seems a bit out of place with the directed light on her.
The crab is also a much hotter/warmer subject taking attention away from your lady... try and balance it and get that light working for you

Thanks. I'll definitely keep that in mind for the next one.
