They have a wonderful back story that I'm not going to get into right now.

EDIT: First of all, HOLY TORPEDO BATMAN!!!! I never expected this!! I flipped a shit and my poor roommates probably thought I was having some sort of breakdown based on the unintelligible noises I was making at high decibels. Thank you sososo much to =Farewell-Spring for suggesting and to ^sphilr for featuring me!! I still can’t get over it!!

I was hesitant to write out their story only because this is a snapshot of a relationship that I’ve been mulling over for two years, and I don’t want to ruin what your imaginations came up with! But here it is: It’s a sad love story of the hunted and her hunter falling in love, not of grimms or any other, but my own. She represents a mythical deer-creature who lives in the roots of the apple trees that grow in an orchard near by(that‘s where the apples and apple blossoms came from)- he is the eternal hunter, in a way condemned, to hunt lost souls for all eternity- sort of like the wild hunt. Just like the wild hunt actually, if they had a leader (did they? I don’t know!). And those are his creepy dogs with skulls for faces and are so evil they cannot pass over water- which was big in some stories, legends- something. Anyways. He has chalk white skin that fades to black at his extremities except for his head, he just has gorgeous black curls and solid black eyes- and as I was interweaving my life with this I chose not to show his face because it’s in a way mirroring another painting I did when I was working something out in my head that looking back on it feels just like this. His sort of creature would be a black swan, and that’s why he’s tossing the three feathers towards her so that as she dies she’ll always remember him. But see that weird white flowy stuff? That’s her soul/being/essence leaving that body to enter into her natural form because even though she’s allowed to take human form it’s the only time she’s vulnerable- but she longs to be with him so badly- and he with her- but once the call to the hunt is made he can’t stop himself from hunting her to her death. This particular time they were at a masquerade ball that he was hosting.
