Description
Yang's new design with some thoughts."Phantom limb" is used to describe patients who lost their limbs while their brain still think those limbs were still there.
"How if Yang's aura covers her as if her lost arm's still there, and how if Yang eventually able to use it in combat?" this thought made me do this.

I am quite pleased to see that I was not the only one to have this thought cross my mind. However, I imagined the arm to be more of a shining, burning gold. Anyway, great work on the piece.

I personally prefer the mechanical arm, as it's what the show seems to be hinting at; there are already characters(Ironwood and Mercury) who have mechanical limbs.
Although a "giant phantom limb" attack (kinda like some of the things Nero from DMC4 can do) would be cool as well.

They are from Atlas while Atlas was seen attacking innocent people at the end of last season, which is why Weiss's dad brought her back. I don't think that would happen anytime soon.

I see. Well, Volume 4 is about getting Team RWBY back together. And my guess as to why Atlas was seen attacking innocent people at the end of last volume was most likely because there is a White Fang spy (or White Fang spies) in Atlas' midst. The attack was being conducted by the spy/spies.
And chances are, Weiss is going to need Ruby's help to weed out the spy/spies and help restore Atlas' good name.
Once that's over and done with, THEN Yang can get her mechanical arm. (Atlas will probably start working on a superweapon capable of destroying that Dragon Grimm, too.)

I prefer the idea of a prosthetic limb that's been weaponized but I'm open to the idea of an aura fueled phantom limb. I like this!

At first, I thought it was another "PLEASE GIVE YANG BACK HER ARM!!" pic, but this concept and execution is not only one I like but I think has a bunch of story opportunities if utilized properly
