Not sure if you would know this but I cant seem to find my tool bars? I know when I first opened it up, there was two, one for my tool and one for the layers. I cant find the layers tool box so I can switch....

Go to "Layer" at the top of the screen, scroll down to "Transform" and then hit "Flip Horizontally"

Did you use the perspective tool to rotate the horse?

No the horse was actually on that tilt naturally. I simply flipped it around to face the other direction. If you needed to move the horse around, in GIMP, you'd use the rotate tool.

just wondering where you put the Background when you're cutting the horse? I'm new to GIMP and I'm not sure how it works....thanks!

Well typically you open the background in it's own file. So you save your background and horse from your stock site, in this case a stockholder on DA. Then you open both files up so you can see them and you proceed to work off your background layer. You copy and paste the horse onto the background being sure to make the horse a new layer.

Sometimes it is a help to save the horse, so you don't have to re-cut again.

I've never seen someone who first preps the horse, then cuts it out. Interesting method! Thanks for sharing.

Well I had to do a color change and I like to see if I can fit the color right before I go through the bothersome method of cutting it out otherwise I cut it all out all nice and pretty and then I try to re-color and it's like &$^Q%$@%#**@($

Used to use that. GIMP has it as like, a path or something, but I don't like it.
