Just some quick modeling in Modo. The rifle itself it's fairly low on resolution, because I haven't played with 3d for awhile and I just wanted to test some modeling techniques. Been out of 3d in the last couple of months and I wanted to get back in shape.I'll start a Maya course next week, hopefully I'll learn something about animation.

That's down to to tastes. If you want to start small you can probably download either Blender or Wings3d and start from there.
