I have one - no, two - stories that have insectoid humans running around, and I was prompted to draw one of them a few days ago. It's really difficult to make something look both like a real insect and still human-ish at the same time. Just sticking a human torso/body onto a bug base isn't everything, so i had to mish around with him a bit. It turned out quite okay, in my opinion.Pencil, then ink, on copier paper.

I was looking for some inspiration for an insect-based character I'm working on, and this is one of the most well-done concepts I've seen for combining an insect and human look. Very awesome. ^^
I love how even the more human features seem to capture some of the insect look, even in the face and hair a bit!

I haven't, really.I wasn't aware there was such a group,though it's only logical in a place like DA. I might try it, I'd like to see what people make of him.
