emember when i used to draw dumb shit all the timethose were the days
this is bad and I should feel bad but… like… I’m pretty sure this is the first thing I’ve drawn purely for fun in like… 100 years.
This needs to be huge or you won’t see the punchline and skdflaj

Man, I wish they would make Hiccup do his old dorky flirting with Astrid like he used to in the movie

I feel like he still does, but it's just more subtle (possibly they don't feel that kind of humor is necessary for the target audience of the TV show?) I do really love how Astrid has become a viable part of the team- a FRIEND and ALLY foremost, and hasn't been reduced to merely a love interest; I think given that they have plenty of time and more reason to address the romance aspect of their relationship in the movies.

Well, obviously, given it didn't happen in the show. I don't know though, sometimes it's fun to put him in these situations and see what he'd do if he thought he wouldn't get caught (just like anyone else, really).
Especially given his sweet nature versus how very dangerous Astrid is; if she were suddenly "safe" and he got the rare opportunity to be in control of her instead of vice versa, would he take it up? They're such a dynamic duo, it's interesting stuff to ponder.
