Physical Appearance:
A large, ruff, and well fed pale lioness with a paler underbelly and shaded top. There are light stripes on her back, darker stripes on her hind legs, and shaded paws. They have a long, silky pinkish brown mane with a bit pulled back into a bun. They have peachy pink flesh on their nose, inner ears, and paw pads. Their fur is medium length.

History:

Safiri was born into a tight-knit, but somewhat large pride of lions that lie further out from the known pride lands. Her family itself was quite large, consisting of her parents, two littermates, and an extensive family stemming from her aunts and uncles, who had children of their own, who were her cousins. She was well loved amongst the throng of kin, often spoiled and doted over like a precious gem. Like all in her pride, she was named after reaching her first year of life, behand being called "Squeak" for her cub name. Most of the pride were pale pelted lions - leucistic and albino alike - who lived a gender neutral enviorment, favouring the "chosen identity" idealogy. From a young age she intended to be a Defender for Pride, wanting to protect her friends and family.

She was a wonderful one, too, she took to her training well, even despite her forgetful nature. It helped that around the time her teens hit, she started to produce more testosterone and grow out the first locks of her mane. She became close with one of peers around this time his name was Sifu. They had grown up together, but hadn't ever really connected until their cercumstances further brought them together. Safiri took up to reigns of socialization with ease, often prodding her new friend out of his comfort zone and challenging him to be a the best version of himself...whether he liked it out not.

They reached adulthood in what felt like a swift span of time, their trials and tasks passing in a blink of an eye. However, peace of the past wasn't long for this world, as conflicts past their borders had reached them. Vengeful, lion-hating Tigers harrassed the group, and oppertunistic rogues would take advantage of the harrowing troubles and would make their push in tandem, taking land and food with reckless abandon. The pride itself was wholely unconfrontation and, in truth, rusty when it came to combat. They were bested with relative ease, the survivors forced to disperse while a good number perished.

Safiri and Sifu were together when the last stand occurred and would flee together, unable to make sense of anything else in the wild panic that occurred. The whereabouts of a lot of their remaining family members were unknown to them as they would become rogues. They've since travelled, trying to make distance between the tigers and rogues who stole their home and hopefully find a new group to join when the grief passes and they build up their strength again.
