If I had a cent (UK penny) for every deviant who has said the same thing - I'd have a couple of nickels (UK shillings) more!
Seriously, it is nice when that connection is made or I raise happy memories of a departed kitty for someone

Many happy years to come in that case, all being well

It's our neighbour's cat who likes to take up residence under our garden chair - much to the disgust of our own cats

It is not our cat but we are happy that he is often in our garden

Well I hope he's doing fine

He is but our cats don't like him in their territory

He liked to hide under our sun bed this year, so it was an obvious capture but one that worked well with the title and the quote :

Certainly beautiful but he's becoming more friendly since I submitted this photograph, I guess he must have seen it!

You do a lot of photography with felines, are they your pets? They're such lovely animals, this one being no exception.

Only the ginger tabby and the black & white one are ours. The rest are ones we meet on our travels. This grey one belongs next door but he comes in to our house for a snack every now and then - there again, ours go next door to pinch his food in revenge. They are becoming 'interchangeable' To be honest, although they are beautiful creatures they are easy photographic targets as well

It worked quite nicely I think but the cat's the star of course

The direct sun does bring out a myriad number of colours

Zu wahr, ja (I hope that means what I intended - 'too true, indeed'

Better than I anticipated as I took it. The notion of the Marilyn Monroe quote helped
