When I was looking for a title and description entry for this submission, I couldn't work out what her expression was showing 
I consulted my wife who thought 'sadness' but I wasn't convinced. I was glad to come across that quote which let to "Fathomless depths". Perhaps it was just inevitable we could not interpret the look. As an old Irish proverb says;
"A cat's eyes are a window enabling us to see into another world"
