A ginger tabby. Before we had her, I'd always thought that tabbies were grey/brownish cats but apparently it's the markings that define a tabby

I think you have persuaded me. I see them being at slightly different levels, so the B/W cat looks up to the ginger one that is looking down. It could work well!
