Description
Switzerland // Zurich // University HoenggI'm not a big fan of architecture-shots, but i really liked the colors of this one, so i thought i should submit it.
I had some troubles to find a name for this piece so I asked my good real-life mate *x-horizon (he's here on DA too, but you probably don't know him cause he's not that popular
Hope you like it..

heh! that's great. wonderful colours here. red vs. green-- the opposing forces, with blinding white light coming right in the middle (and the white itself having a crossing point) to be neutral. neat!

die farben sehen super aus. mir gefΓ€llt auch die schΓ€rfe - da ΓΌberlegt man auf den ersten blick erstmal, was jetzt real und was spiegelung ist.

the colors are absolutely awesome and this lightning makes the building look like it's a plastic maquette...

Vielen Dank
Yves

wow. i like how simple this shot is. the angles of the building and the grassy area + the trees thrown in the middle to break it up. very nice. the red color in the sky is great also (shame about the slight noise in the sky - or is that just my monitor?). either way, great shot

looks completely hyperrealistic Γ’β¬Β¦ too stylish to be true. and once again i like your way of leaving the sky and cropping the image to this extreme (somewhat) format Γ’β¬Β¦

Good stuff. So...abstract, unlifelike. Like *opcd said..like a maquette. Or a render.
That's a compliment by the way. Never heard of *x-horizon . I doubt that he's got the goods.

I like the contrast on this one (red vs. green), broken by the bright whiteness. Very good job

this almost looks like a nice 3d model of a building, really abstract and quite surreal colours captured, well done..
oh and who is that *x-horizon dude, I never heard of him..

The colours are so weird (in a good way!). It looks like a miniature, so neat and tidy. Quite an extraordinary shot.

It's a beautiful composition. I love how the colors are so well saturated, but without looking unatural. Great angle and symetry.

Beautiful! Well, since the primary parts in this photo are the grass/carpet and the sky, you can think of it as a nature shot if you dont like architechture shots that much.

i'm honored! i couldn't say how i do it, though. long exposure lighting often just turns out really cool i think... more examples in my favourites (see below).
