I wanted to use the same concept I used for this baby ( ) only with another character of mine that grew up to be a wacko due to a childhood trauma. Specific, I know. Anyways, the cold-hearted Chimabell von Pyre came to mind and so here is this baby.

The hell with the term "overdone" because, in all honesty, growing up unloved is the worst thing for a child to go through. Chimabell, who before was a sad boy named Christopher, was ridiculed and abused due to his bell ears and dark powers; something that kept everyone an arm's distance away from him - the kids nicknamed him Crybaby Chima, even. His mother was no different and treated him plus his brother and sister like monsters, so as much as he wanted to fit in and live happily he was just unable to do so. He wanted love, not fear. He wanted kindness, not rage.
And so, after being unable to save his mother, he figured that he was indeed the monster the world thought him to be and then he grew up in cruelty, turning him into something ugly and despicable with no compassion in his heart.

As far as the story goes, Chima is a coward. He can't stand up for himself and refused to forgive and forget. This dude is really spineless. I think he lacks hope in himself as well because there's no way in heck anyone would love a freak (according to him).

Though... not even I understand how he transitioned from a sad little freaked out kiddo to an awkward teen all the way to a... 33-year-old childish over-the-top weirdo.
