In this Skill Test, trees get attacked either because the trainers want to boost their Pokemon's confidence, or the other way around (just like in my case). Poor trees. By the time this event is over, this area might have been deforested already.

Haha, I'm really glad Vron and Bryagh were there to save Aidan and Lokakuu! He definitely owes her one! If I can ever catch up to R4, I'll definitely be including Vron saving Aidan's ass XD
I also love how they help out by giving them a breeze to coast away on, Vron is the sweetest!
