I can help you. You can actually do a really good one with just a basic pose and a color palette. All I did was use the same color over and over again with varying opacities.
The only annoying thing about it is zooming in and out over and over again D:

We could do a joint project! You can design the character/object/ whatever, and I can pixelize it? We could probably start with Pokemon Club. . .hmm. We could totally do this for our Pokemon IDs
