Description
‘You chose the wrong place to nest Crow.’ White’s chilly voice echoed across the ruins. ‘I suggest you find another place to spend the night.’The Nights watch men were spinning in circles, looking around for her. White on white, she was near invisible. Stupid crows, this far north they had not idea what they were doing. Even wrapped from head to tail in their furs, black furs in a white world, stupid. Dangerous, at best, and all so wrong. The Nights watch, white would have better suited them, even on this side of the wall.
Not that they would admit that they carried the title, this far from the wall, and on the wrong side, they could only be one thing. Deserters. Traitors, Crows who turned their cloaks and were not running as fast as they could south. Away from the horrors that were coming. White had seen the horrors, and they in turn had seen her, and they had ran.
Ruined swords in hand she looked down upon them.
Crows.
