Description
Grasping the lantern with both hands, Amenii passed it up to Nera. ‘It must be nice being tall.’ She commented, looking up at her lover as the spotted hyena moved to secure another of the paper lanterns to the tree.‘Try walking through the doors here, and then tell me that.’ Nera muttered, just loud enough to be heard. Having smacked her head several times just trying to get in and out, the hyena had developed a constant and serious bruise on her forehead.
The memory made Amenii laugh all the same, it was good to be back. A vacation was long overdue.
And the excuse to get out for a celebration was cause enough to stretch her legs.
