‘Amenii.’‘Mmmmh..’
‘Amenii.’
‘MMmmmmmhHHHH.’
Frowning, Gina planted her hands on her slender hips. The gazelle was still getting used to her room mate, and her odd habits. So secretive, it had taken her a week plus several well timed drinks to get the bunny to open up. And then, there were her quirks. Like this one.
‘Fine you asked for it.’ Gina grumbled as she leaned down, drew in a deep breath and used her best drill Sargent voice. ‘Amenii, you need to get up!’

Amenii, who had been blissfully enjoying her Saturday morning, and having time to not think about classes. That morning was being slowly ruined by her room mate who seemed determined to wake her before noon. Grumbling, she rolled over and drew the pillow over her head in an attempt to ward off the verbal assault.
‘It’s Saturday.’ Amenii grumbled into her bed. ‘We don’t have classes.’
‘That’s right, I do not.’ Her roommate countered, matching her voice. ‘But you do.’
That took a moment to register. Classes. Classes. Classes. Classes! In a second Amenii snapped from groggy half sleep to wide awake terror.
‘Shit!’ Amenii threw off the covers and jumped up out of her bed ignoring her room mates look of bemused horror at her nude form. Adding a few other colorful phrases she jumped around trying to pull on enough clothes to be decent. ‘Stupid! Alarm! Clock!’
Bolting out the door she was about to make her run across campus when her room make stopped her.
‘Aren’t you forgetting something?’
It took Amenii a second to register the blue fuzzy blanket in the gazelle’s outstretched hand. Then it clicked. Her robe!
‘Right, thank you!’
And she was out the door, running at full throttle.
C.S. Notes: Going back to the beginning.This takes place at the beginning of Amenii’s story arc, pulled off of a single faded page of printer paper, I found the outline for how she met Nera and their relationship began. And, seeing how I am a little low on Ideas at present I though now would be a good time as any to get this piece together. ^^

Saturday class??
Interesting........I had a few of those.
Geology field trips usually down to the Big Bend National Park......spend the weekend checking out rocks.......and a few girls!!
I had a Commercial grade DL and extensive vehicle driving credentials so I was the designated school van driver.
Only bad thing was my beer intake was limited.😏

Lol, I came within a hairs breath of getting my CDL but at the last moment got a better job offer. So no CDL for me. I had passed all the written exams and everything too. Given I failed the braking part of the exam twice. >.<
Ah, rock jockeys - I know several friends who are geologists. They obsessively grab and collect rocks on any outing. And, leave me to no choice but to mutter and nod according while large words are thrown around with no though or regard.
And in Amenii's case it is more of a job than a class. A four hour long class.
