Shark People — Description

The king of the shark people was greatly concerned. Their population was dwindling, especially the females. If he did not do something soon, their entire population could go extinct in only a few generations.
With his magic he could create new shark people from the humans, but that was more difficult than he first thought. He could not get too close to the beach because that was dangerous. Most people did not go into the deeper water and those who did traveled in boats protecting them from his magic which only worked in the water. Despite his growing frustration, he knew he had to be patient and wait for the right opportunity.
That opportunity came when Jason decided to see how far away from shore he could go. It was risky but he lived for the thrill of it. Little did he know the greatest danger came not from the water but from the shark directly below him. The shark people king could hear his moments from a long distance away and quickly swam over to his location.
Jason felt he had gone far enough and was just about to head back when he noticed an all too familiar dorsal fin sticking out of the water. Jason knew he could not outswim the shark back to shore and no one was close enough to help him out. All he could do was back away slowly and hope the shark left him alone.
The king of the shark people did not want to attack Jason. He wanted him to join them. With the magic trident he brought with him he cast a spell. A bright blue glow surrounded Jason as his own DNA was combined with that of the shark people king. The magical DNA made changes to his body from the inside out.
First a magical white dress was placed on Jason. Despite being in the water, the dress did not get wet. Next his body changed from male to female. All of the changes that came with it quickly followed. All his, or her, body hair disappeared, her hair grew longer and turned white, her breasts grew out, and she developed some feminine curves. Some fancy sandals appeared on her feet and a gold belt wrapped around her waist.
Finally she gained shark features. A shark tail grew out of her which she strangely did not find strange. She discovered she could become more shark like or more human like which would enable her to go both on land and in the water. She decided on the name Janet because it was similar to the name Jason that he once had.
With half the DNA of the shark people king, Janet understood that this was her father. That made her a shark people princess. The shark people king handed Janet the magic trident he brought with him. Without saying a word, Janet knew the object was intended for her.
The trident glowed a friendly glow as Janet held it in her hands. She considered making herself human and blending in with the people on the beach but that could wait. First she wanted to go meet the other shark people. After all, she was their new princess.
