Chase liked to paint. He had no plans to become an artist or anything like that. It was just a hobby that he enjoyed. He did not expect to get a chance to get a chance to paint when he attended a party hosted by the sorority but that was exactly what exactly what the sorority girls wanted him to do.
Because Chase kept to himself most of the time he had not heard about the rumors and would have ignored them even if he had. He just wanted a chance to have some fun and hopefully make friends. After helping himself to the food and drink he sat down at a nearby table. Some of the sorority girls sat down beside him and asked him many questions.
Chase told them about his hobby of painting. He hoped to take an art class to improve his skills after he finished with the core curriculum. All of them were interested in his paintings. Viola was particularly interested in his paintings. She invited him on a tour of the sorority house.
Viola was a dancer and it showed. Her movements were very graceful. She started her tour with the kitchen where the food was prepared. Then she took him to the garden, the library, and their laboratory.
Chase thought the kitchen was a surprise! The garden, library, and laboratory did not look like they could fit into the sorority house yet they did. He did not ask any questions though because he was more interested in seeing the rest of the sorority house. She led him upstairs to her dorm room. An easel and canvas had already been set up by the window.
"You have seen the sorority house and the sorority sisters too," said Viola. "Now I want you to paint your ideal female. Paint her just the way you want her to be.
Chase painted an outline of her body. As he did this, the shape of his body changed. At first it seemed unreal but that changed as he painted more. When he painted her clothes, his own clothes changed to match those in the painting. When he painted her hair, his own hair became longer. When he painted her face, his own face became smooth and beautiful. When he painted her eyes filled with wonder, his own eyes became filled with wonder too.
Chase wrote the name Cassie above the woman in the painting. Cassie became his, or her, own name. The body parts not seen in the painting also changed to match the new name making her fully female. Viola continued to watch her as she painted.
Although Cassie was satisfied with what she had done so far, she felt it still needed a few finishing touches. She added more to the breast area, made the arms and legs more finely tuned and further developed the face. These changes happened to Cassie as well. When she was done with her self portrait , she showed it to Viola. She was impressed.
When they went back downstairs, Cassie was informed she had been accepted into the sorority. She was overjoyed. To celebrate, she told them she would paint the entire sorority. It was quite a task but she knew she could do it. After all, she was a natural.
