The Agents Of Freedom had discovered the imposter among them. Rick Violet was selected to take Dottie back to AOF Headquarters where she would be safe. They found her in the early stages so all her memories were recovered. She told them how Magenta Smith did what she did so they would be ready the next time it happened.
Sylvia Gold, Kelly Green, Chloe White, and Madison Brown followed Smith at a distance. He was trying to do too much at once and still did not realize he was being tracked. Once he regained sufficient energy he, or she, changed appearance once more. It was another attractive female, an appearance she thought someone else would want ... and surprisingly get.
Smith was overconfident her change in appearance would keep others from finding her. No matter how many times she changed appearance it would not fool the tracker Chloe placed on her. Eventually she stopped at the fast food place secretly run by the Junebug Talent Agency not knowing she had given them away too.
Kelly Green was a shapeshifter like Magenta Smith so she would change form and go inside. Chloe White and Madison Brown would check the place for bugs and traps. Sylvia Gold would take out the cameras so no more information would be collected.
Chloe's scanner started being. There was a camera drone shaped like a mosquito. With a quick blast of energy in its general direction it was taken out of commission. Madison found another mosquito drone a short time later. Then Chloe found another one.
They kept going like that until they stopped all the ones they could find. Neither of them were able to find any more but they knew absence of evidence was not evidence of absence. They had to keep looking.
Sophia took out the cameras all fast food places have. There were no explosions or anything like that. They simply stopped working. Except for those looking at the images, no one was aware anything had happened.
Kelly in disguise ordered a meal like any other customer would. While eating she, or he, quietly observed the area. He looked like the type of person the Junebug Talent Agency would go after and once they did they would have the evidence they needed.
Smith might have been reckless but even she would not attempt a body swap so soon after the last one. She checked the cameras and noticed the images were not working. This concerned her. Then she noticed the tracker on her, the one that had been with her the entire time.
Smith screamed and removed the tracker immediately. This let the others know she was on to them. Chloe and Madison guarded the exits while Sophia and Kelly went into the back of the restaurant. There was a staircase leading down. Knowing that must be where Smith had gone, they cautiously descended the staircase.
Sophia and Kelly informed Chloe and Madison where they were and said they would keep in touch. Sophia noticed a trap door and warned Kelly to go around it. At the end of the tunnel was a ladder going up to the surface.
They climbed up the ladder and looked around. Magenta Smith was nowhere to be seen. She had gotten away. However it was not a complete loss. Magenta Smith would never work for the Agents Of Freedom again which meant her false leads would be far less effective.
Also the Agents Of Freedom would take over the fast food place. Chloe and Madison would have undercover jobs as waitresses and entertainers. That way when subliminal messages led people there, they would be ready!
