The beast is dying. Belle had one week to come back, and she hasn't returned. Has she left him? He cant bear the pain, his heart is breaking. He lies down among his roses as the rain falls down. Nothing is worse than the pain of losing a loved one.
I love the story of Beauty and the Beast. East of the sun and West of the moon, Cupid and Psyche, and all the others that have influenced this story also top my favorites. It feels good to illustrate it because a lot of my characters have something about this fairytale in it.
Even though it hurts, and it feels like the world will never stop falling down around, love will always find a way. In the end, everyone is loved by someone, be it family, friends, a lover, or a stranger who cant help but love what you've done for them. Everyone has their roses.
And in my twisted face
There's not the slightest trace
Of anything that even hints of kindness
And from my tortured shape
No comfort, no escape
I see, but deep within is utter blindness
Hopeless
As my dream dies
As the time flies
Love a lost illusion
Helpless
Unforgiven
Cold and driven

How I could have love her and made her love me too
If I can't love her, then who?

No point anymore, if I can't love her
No spirit could win me
No hope left within me
Hope I could have loved her and that she'd set me free

I see what you mean, but i did want a different feel. In this one, he's on the ground(i suck at drawing grass) in pain, starting to die. In the other one, it didnt have that life or death feel.

I was seeing the heartbroken monster in the first one, and I thought the zoomy-lines were supposed to accentuste the concept of pain, but it looks kinda like he's angry...

This is really nice, haha love how I just saw the movie Beastly last night, which is a modern day Beauty and the Beast. You should look into it, I have a feeling you would like it.

Oh? Whats it called, and who is it by? The only live action beauty and the beast movie i saw was so bad it was comical. the beast hissed every time the camera panned to him, really heavy hissing with his eyes wide and his mouth open.

Its called Beastly, and its directed by Daniel Barnz. It just came out this year :3 It isn't directly a "Beauty and the Beast" movie, but thats what its theme is.
