Ratchet x Rivet [Rivchet] - Joined Together — Description
Wow, I'm going guns-a-blazing with the fanart lately... Though this just a simple piece this time.
I only just put the finishing touches on it, actually; the others were done during the last month.
This one's different, however, because it is Ratchet and Clank artwork...

OK OK OK. Let's get the obvious out of the way.
Yes, I ship Ratchet with Rivet.
The irony is that, before the game launched, I didn't want Insomniac Games making Rivet (when we didn't know her name) a new love interest for Ratchet. However, once the game released... I actually really loved the chemistry between the two characters and found it adorable!
Plus, Rivet is just awesome AND adorable all together.

Hey, I know! Let's coin a new term for that: ADORSOME!

Anyway...
For those curious, I actually haven't played the game yet. I have watched all of the cutscenes (spoilers don't bother me), and I really REALLY loved what I saw!
I do have the game, anyway, so once I get a PS5 I'll be able to experience it for myself.

Alright alright. I know what you're REALLY curious about: why Rivet?
Listen, I've got nothing against Talwyn as a character OR love interest for Ratchet. I just don't feel anything with her.
Rivet, on the other hand, just SCREAMS at me for this role!

And as for the title...
Well, it's just the opposite of 'Rift Apart' so I thought it would be clever.
...
And I tried my best to make it an innuendo. (It'd be a war-crime if I DIDN'T try and make a title innuendo when referring to this series!)

By the way, anyone got any portmanteau's for this ship?
Ratchvet, perhaps?
EDIT: I'm now calling it Rivchet from here on out.
