Part 1 yesterday - mission accomplished. Part 2 today - it's surely about time we had another Scuderia 1-2 at the Cathedral of Speed after all these years!
Without wishing to underestimate the strength of the opposition I believe it's possible, but it will be interesting to see how the politics play out. In the interests of the championship battle surely the team will need to let Sebastian win if he doesn't get ahead at the start, but that will require Kimi's cooperation. A few short weeks ago it seemed certain that he would be replaced by Charles Leclerc for next season, but now I am convinced he will stay for another year and he is driving as well as ever of late. He therefore has a very strong hand when it comes to contract negotiations if the situation arises today where he is asked to swap positions to give Sebastian victory.
Sadly I shall have to wait for the highlights programme on free-to-air TV to find out, so shall be shutting myself off from the outside world until about 8.30 p.m. Britiish time to make sure I don't know the result in advance.

I haven't had a television for a few years. To my great happiness, I got rid of my television a few years ago. I hope to watch this race on my PC.
