OOC of a Gundam SEED Destiny player...but with a different background-----------
Mayu Asuka is Shinn Asuka's little sister. During Shinn's time living in Orb, the two were very close.
When the Earth Alliance invaded Orb in 2011 (during the final phases of the 1st Robotech War), Mayu and the rest of her family were forced to evacuate. However, she dropped her pink cellphone down a slope on the way to the evacuation point. Though the phone barely worked due to Neutron Jammer interference, Shinn knew that her sister still treasured it and went to retrieve it. However, immediately after Shinn retrieved the phone and Mayu went after him, a clash between the Freedom Gundam and the Calamity Gundam triggered an explosion, killing their parents and leaving the siblings orphans.
Both migrated to the space colonies and upon joining the ZAFT Military, they receives the personal patronage of Shinji Ikari, the War Hero of the recent Robotech/Zeon Wars. This act of kindness established a close bond between them, which Mayu is very close to Shinji's sisters, including Christa Ikari.
Although she detests violence, Mayu takes martial arts lessons and is very skilled in Kendo. Her brother becomes her sparring partner and lost many times to her in kendo matches due to being a hot-headed. She is quite skilled in kendo that she even mastered the Niito-ryu style of using two swords and likes to wear a lot of different clothing.
Mayu and Christa are so close that Mayu would often spends her time with her, especially enjoying sleepovers.
She is assigned to the Nadesico-class Battleship Nightfall as communications operator and relays all such communications to Captain Natarle Badigruel.
Mayu pilots a Zaku Warrior unit but remains aboard the Nightfall throughout much of the Superhero Civil War.

In fact, I was upset about her dying so I changed her fate and that of Stellar's.
Besides, Mayu is her brother's rock and often had keep him in line.

In my version of the Superhero Civil War, she was abducted by Khyron alongside Minmei and Lacus as hostages.
Fortunately, they were rescued by Rick, Kira, Athrun and the members of JUMP Force.
