Inseparable and insufferable. — Description
These two young ladies, both employees of mine, just could not get on together. They were forever bickering, throwing snide remarks about each other and generally disturbing the effucient running of the business. This morning, my patience with them both expired and I gave both of them an ultimatum. Learn to get along or both be sacked.

Of course, both agreed to try, but within thirty minutes they were back to their old habits. Both stood before me in floods of tears begging to keep their jobs, so I gave them one final chance to change their attitudes to each other.

They are both currently on display in the staff rest room, firmly secured to each other in positions that my not seem uncomfortable now, but given a couple of hours their backs will be screaming in pain, and they will begin to realise that the only way either of them is going to be released is to start being nice to each other.

I think I'll leave the metal stocks and fiddle in the rest room as a constant reminder.
